We aim to collect only information reasonably needed to answer enquiries, manage admissions and payments, provide training, maintain academic records, support learners, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent personal information.

1. Who we are and scope

IINDC ("IINDC", "Institute", "we", "us", or "our") operates IT training and related learning services online and from its center in Rajkot, Gujarat. For the personal information described in this policy, IINDC is generally the organization deciding why and how that information is processed.

This Privacy Policy applies to prospective learners, enrolled learners, parents or guardians, website visitors, event participants, internship applicants, and people who communicate with us. It should be read with our Terms and Conditions and any additional notice shown when information is collected.

This policy is designed to follow applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules as their provisions become applicable.

Communications and media

Emails, calls, WhatsApp or other messages, enquiry details, survey responses, testimonials supplied with permission, and photographs, audio, or video where a class or event is recorded with appropriate notice.

When you use our website or online services, servers and providers may automatically receive technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP, referring page, pages requested, timestamps, error logs, and security events.

We normally receive information directly from you or your parent or guardian. We may also receive it from an organization sponsoring your training, a referral source you have authorized, payment and communication providers, or publicly available sources where lawful. Please do not give us sensitive or unnecessary information unless we specifically request it for a stated purpose.

3. Why and how we use information

  • Respond to enquiries, recommend suitable learning options, schedule counseling, and communicate admission information.
  • Verify eligibility, register learners, manage batches, attendance, classes, assignments, assessments, certificates, internships, mentoring, and learner support.
  • Process payments, issue invoices and receipts, administer instalments, maintain accounts, and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website, center, learning systems, curriculum, communications, and learner experience.
  • Protect learners, staff, systems, property, and legal rights; investigate complaints or misconduct; and enforce our Terms.
  • Send administrative messages about classes, payments, assessments, policy changes, security, or Services.
  • Send course updates or promotional communications where permitted. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time, although essential Service messages may continue.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, education, consumer, law-enforcement, court, and other applicable legal requirements.

We process personal information with your consent where consent is required, to take requested steps or provide an enrolled Service, for certain legitimate uses permitted by law, and to comply with legal obligations. If you withdraw consent, it will not affect earlier lawful processing, and we may retain or continue using information where another lawful requirement applies.

4. When information is shared

We limit access to people and organizations that reasonably need information for the purposes described above. Depending on the Service, this may include:

  • IINDC owners, administrators, trainers, mentors, employees, and contractors who are expected to handle information appropriately.
  • Website hosts, cloud storage, email, learning, video meeting, messaging, customer support, accounting, security, and IT service providers.
  • Banks, payment gateways, finance or EMI providers, auditors, accountants, and professional advisers.
  • Certificate, assessment, internship, recruitment, or employer partners where needed for a requested opportunity and with an appropriate basis or permission.
  • Government bodies, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other persons when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor or adviser involved in a proposed or completed reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Institute, subject to lawful safeguards.

Some providers may process information outside India or route communications through other countries. Where cross-border processing occurs, we will use it subject to applicable Indian restrictions and reasonable contractual or technical safeguards.

5. Website, cookies, and third-party tools

Our website and hosting environment may use essential cookies or similar technologies needed for security, routing, preferences, or basic functionality. Server logs may also be kept for reliability and security. We do not currently intend to use personal information for cross-site behavioural advertising. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, we will provide any notice or choice required by law.

The website uses externally hosted resources and may contain links or embedded features such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, fonts, content delivery networks, video meeting tools, or social platforms. When you load or open these services, the third party may receive your IP address, device information, and interaction data under its own privacy policy. You can avoid some transfers by not opening optional links or embedded features.

Third-party sites and services are not controlled by this policy. Review their privacy terms before giving them personal information. Browser settings may let you block or delete cookies, but doing so can affect functionality.

6. Learners under 18

A parent or legal guardian should manage the enrolment and communications for a learner under 18.

Where required, we will seek verifiable parental or guardian consent before processing a child's personal information. The parent or guardian must provide accurate information and may make an applicable privacy request on the child's behalf.

We use a minor's information only for appropriate admission, teaching, safety, communication, assessment, certification, support, and legal purposes. We do not knowingly use children's personal information for targeted advertising or behavioural monitoring. If you believe a child provided information without required permission, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

7. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected and for applicable legal, accounting, tax, dispute, fraud-prevention, backup, and record-verification needs. Retention depends on the type of record: unsuccessful enquiries may be removed when no longer useful, while payment, enrolment, assessment, and certificate records may need to be retained longer. We delete, anonymize, or securely isolate information when it is no longer required, subject to technical and legal limitations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to our size and the information handled. These may include access controls, authentication, software updates, backups, staff confidentiality expectations, and secure service providers. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please protect your devices and credentials and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on the applicable law and its commencement, you may have the right to:

  • Request a summary of personal information being processed and certain information about its use or sharing.
  • Ask us to correct, complete, update, or erase eligible personal information.
  • Withdraw consent as easily as it was given, where processing depends on consent.
  • Opt out of promotional email or messaging while continuing to receive necessary Service communications.
  • Raise a grievance and receive information about the available grievance process.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise applicable rights in the event of death or incapacity.

Send a request to hello@iindc.com. State your name, contact details, relationship with IINDC, and the request. To protect privacy, we may verify identity and authority, ask for clarification, or refuse or limit a request where permitted by law. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Please first give us an opportunity to resolve a privacy grievance. Where available under applicable law, you may then use the prescribed process before the Data Protection Board of India or another competent authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, providers, security practices, or Services. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek fresh consent for a materially different purpose.
